Corrections

If the evidence is wrong, the record should show the fix.

Readers, sources, and members can challenge factual claims, calculations, attribution, or source handling. We review specific, reproducible reports and disclose material corrections.

Report a possible error

Email support@visionboardfinance.com with the subject “Correction request.” To help us reproduce the issue, include:

  • the URL and article or page title;
  • the exact sentence, chart, value, or source label in question;
  • why you believe it is wrong or misleading;
  • a primary source or calculation when available; and
  • the date, timezone, symbol, and observation period for time-sensitive market data.

Privacy, account, and billing requests should use the same address but are handled under the legal and privacy terms, not this editorial process.

How reports are reviewed

  1. We compare the challenged statement with the cited source, stored data when available, and the relevant model logic.
  2. We determine whether the issue is a material error, an immaterial presentation problem, a source revision, or a reasonable disagreement about interpretation.
  3. We correct confirmed errors in proportion to their impact and add a note when the change is material.
  4. For source revisions, we may update the value and explain that the underlying publication changed.

Disagreement with a scenario or conclusion is not automatically an error. We still review whether the conclusion was fairly supported and uncertainty was stated.

What counts as material

A correction is material when it changes a central fact, important number, attribution, chart, model description, or conclusion a reasonable reader could rely on. Material corrections should state what was wrong, what changed, and when.

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, broken-link, and accessibility fixes can be made without a formal note when they do not change meaning.
